AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract includes two pricing dimensions. The Braze Platform dimension is your base entitlement. It covers 100K Monthly Active Users, 5M emails, 2 IP addresses, 750K US SMS, and message notifications. Pricing scales with your Monthly Active Users, the customers who actively engage with your brand. The second dimension charges overages monthly in arrears when you exceed those included entitlement amounts. So you commit to the base package upfront, then pay for any excess usage after it happens. The two dimensions work together: one sets your allowance, the other handles usage beyond it.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Monthly Active User for billing?
A Monthly Active User is a customer who actively interacts with your brand across your digital experiences. You maintain one unified profile per customer across devices and channels. You choose when to start tracking a user, so dormant profiles you store do not count toward your active-user total.
What happens if I exceed the entitlements included in the Braze Platform package?
When you use more than your included allowance of Monthly Active Users, emails, US SMS, or IP addresses, the overage dimension bills the excess. Those charges post monthly in arrears, meaning after the usage happens. Your base commitment stays fixed; only the amount above entitlement adds cost.
Which entitlement drives most of my cost — active users or message volume?
The Braze Platform base commitment sets fixed allowances for Monthly Active Users, emails, US SMS, and IP addresses. Any single category you exceed triggers overage charges independently. Cost grows fastest wherever your usage most exceeds its included amount, since each entitlement meters separately.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Braze for its modern interface, which makes it easy to navigate and use. The data integration features, especially Currents, are very good and allow for seamless exporting of events. I find the data schemas well-detailed, which is important for my focus on data analytics. Overall, Braze has a well-structured approach to managing user journeys, and its pricing model is quite reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some events arrive later than we'd like. I wish there were better guarantees, like ensuring all events arrive within 4 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us better manage email campaigns with personalized outreach, and its data integration facilitates detailed analysis.

It mostly helped our team coordinate customer engagement across channels. The personalization has usually felt timely and relevant, and the AI-powered decisioning and optimization made a significant improvement in which message or experience customers receive. I also like the drag and drop experience and the activity dashboard.

Ease of setup was a 4 for me. I also rated AI Copilot and template management as 1.

Powerful orchestration and reliable delivery, but weak data quality and reporting
Reviewed on Sep 24, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Integration APIs are non-negotiable for me because no marketing platform exists in a vacuum. Braze’s API layer lets me connect customer data workflows across systems seamlessly, instead of building siloed campaigns that don’t reflect the full customer picture. Workflow Capability is what separates Braze from the lightweight tools out there. I can design complex, multi-step journeys with conditional branching and real-time triggers, and deliver pretty personalized experiences. Performance and Reliability also give me confidence, because when a campaign goes live, timing is everything and I need to trust messages will deliver as scheduled. Braze also coordinated customer engagement across channels very well, and personalization has felt consistently timely and relevant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data Quality Management is frustrating because Braze assumes a level of data hygiene that rarely exists. Ingesting inconsistent or incomplete data leads to messy profiles and broken segment logic, and there aren’t enough built-in validation or cleansing tools, so I spend significant time troubleshooting before campaigns can even launch, especially across multiple client accounts with different data standards. Dashboards feel overly simplistic for the depth of data Braze captures and lack customization flexibility, so I often have to pull data out and rebuild reports elsewhere. Reporting/Analytics has a disconnect between event-level data and actionable insights: attribution can feel opaque, understanding the full journey across channels often means stitching together reports, and turning raw data into client-ready narratives takes significant manual effort and is time-consuming and prone to error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m able to connect customer data workflows across systems, run complex lifecycle programs with conditional branching and real-time triggers, and deliver personalized experiences that feel timely and relevant. I also get the confidence to recommend Braze because of its consistent uptime and reliable delivery when campaigns go live, and it coordinates cross-channel engagement very well.

Customizable and Complex with a Steep Learning Curve

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to segment the audience and send corresponding campaigns with Braze. I also appreciate the ability to send customizable campaigns which help improve activation and retention rates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze is a pretty complicated product, and the UI is a little bit too complicated as well. We need to nurture our users by giving them important tips and educational content to move them down the funnel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us manage long-term cycle campaigns, engage with customers, and improve activation and retention by allowing us to segment our audience and send corresponding customizable campaigns.

Strong customization and scheduling, but segmentation can be complex
Reviewed on Sep 24, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really value the customization and scheduling. They help me tailor communications to the right audience and make sure messages are sent at the right time, which improves engagement and overall campaign effectiveness.
What do you dislike about the product?
The segmentation options can sometimes feel complex, especially when I’m creating detailed audience criteria or managing multiple conditions. I’d like the process to be more intuitive and easier to manage. I also don’t use Rich Notifications much since my day-to-day needs are mostly simple, direct messages, and they can require more setup and customization than standard notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better engagement and overall campaign effectiveness from being able to tailor communications and schedule messages at the right time. It mostly helped coordinate customer engagement across channels.
